Career Opportunities Occupational Therapist (OTR) The role of the Occupational Therapist is to evaluate the rehabilitation needs for each patient and then establish a treatment plan which includes measurable, objective, short and long term goals. Maintenance of timely and accurate records according to policies, procedures and regulations, which include evaluations, screenings, progress notes, discharge summaries and service logs is necessary. A staff Occupational Therapist will provide supervision for assistants and aides as required by law.
