About Us
At Hillside Heights, we strive to provide the best resident care and maintain consistent superior quality and value through all our services. We pride ourselves in meeting the needs of each resident with warmth, understanding and compassion and work together as a team to set personal goals with residents that help them reach their maximum potential.

We also contract with PeaceHealth to provide sub-acute care for patients who require a higher level of clinical oversight.

Jennifer Luria, Administrator 
Jennifer assumed the position as administrator in 2008.  She joined Hillside Heights in 2006 as director of social work and admissions/marketing coordinator.  Jennifer enjoys getting to know the residents at Hillside Heights and helping them have an active life.

She earned a bachelor's degree in child and family services at Iowa State University and a master's of social work a the the University of Iowa.  Before joining Hillside Heights, Jennifer worked as a director of social work for a long-term care facility in Portland.

Jennifer enjoys spending her free time with her "amazing" young daughter.

Amy Garber, Director of Nursing Services
Amy Garber attended Davidson County Community College in North Carolina and obtained her associate’s degree in nursing. She went to work for High Point Regional Hospital in High Point, North Carolina for two years in the medical/surgical neurovascular unit.

Having previously worked in long-term care, Amy missed the special connections that are made when working with seniors and decided to move back to Oregon. She worked as the RNCM at Hillside Heights for two years before taking the on the role of director of nursing services. Always improving her skills, Amy is back in school at Linfield College to obtain a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Her biggest personal goal is to run the Chicago Marathon.

Mark Pruen, Rehabilitation Program Manager
Mark Pruen, OTR/L, has been an occupational therapist since graduating from Pacific University, Forest Grove in 1991. Following 12 years working on oil rigs in the Arabian Gulf, North Sea and South China Sea, Mark returned to school to pursue a career in healthcare. He has practiced for the past 15 years in home health and skilled nursing facilities. For nearly five years he has held the rehabilitation program manager’s position at Hillside Heights. When not working, Mark keeps busy with his wife, two grown children, seven sheep, two dogs and two cats.
